Cynthia Ray (Crook) Coles, 67, of Bedford, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away surrounded by her family and friends on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Red Crest Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born February 18, 1959, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Bill Crook and Marilyn (Tackett) Wilson.

Cynthia owned and operated her own cleaning business for many years and was a caretaker for many people throughout the years.

She enjoyed singing, dancing, shopping, cleaning, reading, and spending time with her family.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her mother, Marilyn; daughter, Sarah Coles; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five siblings, Michael Crook, James Crook, Chris Crook, Ronald Wilson, and Melissa Wilson-Carlile; nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Crook; daughter, Tina Crook; and sister, Kelly Crook-Hall.

Cremation was chosen, per Cynthia’s request, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
