Debra A. (Pelkey) Armentrout, 66, of Bloomington, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Red Crest Hospice

House in Bloomington.

Born December 22, 1959, in Athol, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of George and Flora E. Pelkey.

She attended Athol High School in Massachusetts.

Debra worked as a department manager at Wal-Mart for many years.

She married Anthony Patrick Smeriglio and he preceded her in death in 2002.

Debra loved animals, diamond art, and spending time with her family.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Anthony Cole (Brittany) Smeriglio; daughter, Tammy (Matt) Conder; six

grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Anthony Patrick; and sister, Mary Pelkey.

Cremation was chosen and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
