Harold Eugene “Gene” Henson, 70, of Bedford, passed away on Friday December 5, 2025.

Born September 3, 1955, in Bedford, he was the son of Delbert and Wilma (Stevens) Henson.

Gene attended Bedford High School.

He married Debbie Randolph on March 3, 1993 and she survives.

Gene worked at Indiana Limestone for many years.

He loved fishing, family, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Debbie; children, Michael (Rosemary) Henson and Philip (Penny) Middleton; grandchildren, Ethan Middleton, Devin Middleton, Caitlyn Middleton and fiancé Devan Schultz, Destiny Beavers, and Amanda Henson; great-grandchildren, Finley Middleton and Westin Henson; siblings, Ron (Gail) Henson, Delbert (Rhea Bough) Henson, Bonnie (Charles) Chaplin, and Darlene Bailey; brothers-in-law, Robert Jurashen, Arlis Randolph, and Brian Randolph; sisters-in-law, Denise (Ralph) Ritchison and Anita (Denny) Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents; son, Eddie Middleton; grandson, Derek Duane Middleton Finney; brother, Gary Henson; sister, Debbie Jurashen; brothers-in-law, David Bailey, Charles Randolph, and Ernest Randolph; and sister-in-law, Sheila Randolph.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, December 12, 2025 at the Limestone Chapel of George Funeral Care at 527 15th Street in Bedford.

Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until the service hour on Friday at the Limestone Chapel, Bedford.
