Jodi Michelle (Walker) Terry, 54, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Red Crest Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born December 18, 1971, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Danny Walker and Anita (Ray) Todd.

Jodi graduated from Bedford North Lawrence High School with the class of 1990 and attended Ball State University and Vincennes University. She was a student manager for the BNL Lady Stars during their State Championship season.

She married John Terry on October 18, 1997, and he survives.

Jodi was a member of Crossroads Community Church.

She had a passion for teaching and special education. Jodi loved fishing, camping, boating, singing, listening to music, watching sports, especially the Kansas City Chiefs, and spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing sports, playing softball in her younger years. Jodi was very nurturing, she enjoyed cooking and providing meals for others.

Jodi previously worked for NLCS in various roles.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, John; daughter, Brooke (Britain Weddle) Terry; parents, Danny (Judy) Walker and Anita Todd; sister, Julia (Billy Warner) Lindsey; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Melissa (George) Kalber and David (Christy) Terry; nephews, Tyler (Kendra) Kalber, Evan Lindsey, and Alex Kalber; nieces, Katie (Jordan) Fordyce, Caroline Terry, and Riley Walker; several other special family members, aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews; special friend, Leatha Love; and her dogs, Luna and Joy.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry Ray, Kathryn (Ray) and Ben Crane, and Dale and Almeta Walker; brother-in-law, Patrick Terry; uncle, Robert Walker; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Roy and Rose Terry.

Jodi’s wishes were to be cremated and hold a Celebration of her life at a later date.
