Larry Brian Howell, 67, of Bedford, passed away at 2:15 P.M. on Monday, January 5, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Born March 31, 1958, in Burbank, California, he was the son of James “Jim” Howell and Florence (Lawman) Sandoval.

Larry graduated from Simi Valley High School in California with the class of 1976.

He married his childhood neighbor and best friend, Cindy Real on February 13, 1976, and she survives.

“Hairy Larry” retired from General Motors after over 40 years, where he worked in waste water treatment prior to retiring in 2020.

He was a member of the UAW Local 440 and was an avid bow hunter. Larry enjoyed 4 wheeling, fishing, riding his Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, and spending time with his family.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years, Cindy; children, James (Brandy) Howell and Maria Howell; and grandchildren, Isaac Batman, Esmund Polmanter, Zeke Howell, and Harper Howell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Gabriel Howell; and siblings, Dave Howell and Randy Howell.

Cremation was chosen and no services are planned at this time.
