Mary Elizabeth (Crady) Banet, 44, of Bedford, formerly of New Albany, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. 

Born June 19, 1982, in New Albany, Indiana, she was the daughter of John E. Crady Jr and Rebecca L. (Harris) Crady. 

She married William Banet Sr and he preceded her in death on June 13, 2024. 

Mary graduated from Jeffersonville High School. 

She worked as an Overnight Stocker at Wal-Mart in Bedford. 

Mary enjoyed serving others, playing the piano, loved animals, and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Bailiegh Banet and William Banet Jr.; mother, Rebecca L. Crady; sister, Tanya (Darren) Hammond; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, John E. Crady Jr; husband, William Banet Sr; and brother, John E. Crady III. 

Cremation was chosen per Mary's wishes, and no services are planned at this time.
