Troy Nathan Eads
October 2, 1969 - November 24, 2025

Troy Nathan Eads left this world surrounded by family and love at 11pm on Monday November 24, 2025 at IU Health Hospice House.

Troy Nathan was born on October 2, 1969 in Bloomington IN to Joyce (Smith) Hawkins and Coby Eads.

He worked in telecommunications for 30+ years, most recently at Lineal Contracting Inc. He took so much pride in his work and would not deal with just standing around with your hands in your pockets. His heart was huge for those he loved and he was quick to let you know if you were not doing your best job and that you could do better.

He loved playing guitars and working outside in the yard and in his garage, but most of all he loved the Lord.

Troy married Laura Anne Richardson on September 9, 1995 and they welcomed two children-Abigail Maglynn (Isaiah) and Aubrey Jean. He would tell you that his kids were the most important thing that ever happened to him and that they literally saved his life. He loved them fiercely.

Troy is survived by his wife, Laura Anne; children, Abigail Maglynn and Aubrey Jean (partner Madilyn Wray); mother, Joyce (Phil) Hawkins; father, Coby (Joyce) Eads; siblings, Timmy Grubb (Vangie), Dusty Grubb, Stephanie Sexton (John), Terra McLaughlin (Michael); step-siblings, Dr. Misty Hawkins, Meranda Jenkins (Nelson), Crystal Mikels (Brady), JR Morris, Mikel Morris; aunts, Shirley Hartman (Philip) and Diana Cooley (Steve); sisters-in-law, Christy Fender (Kevin) and Dr. Ashley Furlong (Jake);brother-in-law, Adam Richardson (Ashton);-Laura's step-mother, Cindy Richardson; 22 nieces and nephews; many great nieces/nephews; stepmother in his youth, Rita Jo Prince; cousins who were like brothers to him, Rusty Smith, Chris Smith, Andy Smith and Scott Dillard; friends that were family, Kevin Smith, David Potts, Shane Foddrill, Tim Prince, and Phil Tolliver.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Wilma Jean and James Prince and Robert Ancil (Butch) Smith; paternal grandparents Vasel and Doris Jean Eads; uncles David Smith (Becky) and Danny Joe Smith; mother and father-in-law Larry and Ethel Richardson; stepfather Rusty Grubb and his father, Don Grubb.
